New Trailer for Marvel's SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME Swings Into Action and WOW!
Marvel and Sony have unleashed the new trailer for director Jon Watts’ Spider-Man: No Way Home, and holy crap! This thing is packed with all kinds of crazy awesome footage that fans are going to freakin’ lose their minds over!
I’m excited! How can you not be after watching this!? The director is going to deliver another super-cool Spider-Man movie! There’s still no sign of Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield, but I don’t care! They don’t need to show up in this film to make it good. This looks like it’s going to a great story!
The high-anticipated sequel sees Tom Holland’s Peter Parker teams up with Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange as they find themselves in a wild multiverse adventure after Peter asks Strange to make people forget that he’s Spider-Man. As you’ve seen in the trailer, things go terribly wrong while Strange is trying to conduct the spell. This trailer also makes it clear that Doctor Strange is not evil.
Here’s the synopsis:
For the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, our friendly neighborhood hero's identity is revealed, bringing his Super Hero responsibilities into conflict with his normal life and putting those he cares about most at risk. When he enlists Doctor Strange’s help to restore his secret, the spell tears a hole in their world, releasing the most powerful villains who’ve ever fought a Spider-Man in any universe. Now, Peter will have to overcome his greatest challenge yet, which will not only forever alter his own future but the future of the Multiverse.
Some of the villains in the film include Alfred Molina's Doc Ock, Jamie Foxx's Electro, Willem Dafoe’s Green Goblin, and Sandman, but it doesn’t look like it’s Thomas Haden Church’s version. Lizard also shows up in the trailer!
The cast also includes Zendaya as MJ, Jacob Batalon as Ned, Marisa Tomei as Aunt May, Tony Revolori as Flash, and Hannibal Buress as Coach Wilson.
Spider-Man: No Way Home hits theaters on December 17, 2021. Watch the trailer and tell us what you think!
