The New Trailer For ROBIN HOOD is Filled Chaotic Action and Thievery
Lionsgate doesn’t want you to forget that there’s a new Robin Hood movie coming that stars Jamie Foxx as Little John and Taron Egerton as Robin Hood. The new trailer features a good amount of new footage from the film and offers a little more insight into the background of Robin Hood and what led him on the path to becoming a legend.
The movie comes from director Otto Bathurst (Peaky Blinders, Black Mirror) and it definitely looks different than any of the other Robin Hood films that have been made. But, it looks a lot like something Guy Ritchie would have made. There are a lot of stylistic choices in the film that are similar to stuff that we’ve from the films that Ritchie has made.
Yeah, the movie does look kinda silly, but I also think that it will bring some fun entertainment that audiences will enjoy.
Robin of Loxley (Taron Egerton) a war-hardened Crusader and his Moorish commander (Jamie Foxx) mount an audacious revolt against the corrupt English crown in a thrilling action-adventure packed with gritty battlefield exploits, mind-blowing fight choreography, and a timeless romance.
The cast for the film also includes Ben Mendelsohn as the Sheriff of Nottingham, Jamie Dornan (Fifty Shades of Grey) as Will Scarlet, Eve Hewson (Bridge of Spies) as Maid Marion, Tim Minchin (Californication) as Friar Tuck, and Paul Anderson (Peaky Blinders, The Revenant) as Guy of Gisborne.
Robin Hood is produced by Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Davisson Killoran, Basil Iwanyk, Tory Tunnell and Joby Harold. It will hit theaters on November 21, 2018.
