The New Trailer For STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS Season 7 Has Been Unleashed and Ahsoka Tano is Back in Action!

During Star Wars Celebration today, Lucasfilm shared the first trailer for the highly anticipated return of Star Wars: The Clone Wars! Fans were overcome with shock and excitement when it was announced at Comic-Con last year that the series would return.

As previously teased, the seventh series of the season will see the return of the Jedi Ahsoka Tano (Ashley Eckstein), only this new trailer features a lot more footage of her in action and she seems to have a badass story arc! It looks like she has some new friends along with the Clone Troopers fighting by her side. She teams back up with Anakin Skywalker, who gives back her dual lightsabers, but this time they have blue blades instead of green.

I also included an unfinished sequence that was screened which showed Ahsoka reuniting with Captain Rex. That sequence showed Rex's squad with a new helmet design with Ahsoka's skin pattern painted onto them, which I thought was pretty cool.

We also get to see Ahsoka face off with Darth Maul in the trailer and when talking about that fight, Filoni said that fight will be “a more intricate lightsaber duel than he has ever attempted in his animated Star Wars series.” They also brought in Ray Park to wear a motion-capture suit to record his fight moves for the series!

Watch the trailer and clip below and tell us what you think! Star Wars: The Clone Wars will return exclusively on Disney+ but a release date has yet to be announced.
