The New TWILIGHT ZONE Series Casts John Cho, Jacob Tremblay, and Allison Tolman

One of the episodes that CBS All Access and producer Jordan Peele are producing for The Twilight Zone series is called “The Wunderkind,” and it will star John Cho (Star Trek), Allison Tolman (Fargo) and Jacob Tremblay (Room, Wonder).

There’s no word on what this episode will be about, but judging from the title it will focus on a child prodigy, and that child prodigy will be played by Tremblay.

These actors join the previously cast Sanaa Lathan, Adam Scott, and Kumail Nanjiani, who are are starring in other episodes for The Twilight Zone. The other episodes we know of so far that will be included in the series are “Nightmare At 30,000 Feet,” “Nick of Time,” and “Rewind.”

Peele isn’t only producing the series, he’s also hosting the show as he steps into the shoes of the imaginative visionary, Rod Serling. When previously talking about the series, Peele explained:

“Rod Serling was an uncompromising visionary who not only shed light on social issues of his time, but prophesied issues of ours. I’m honored to carry on his legacy to a new generation of audiences as the gatekeeper of ‘The Twilight Zone.'”

It’s pretty cool to see this new Twilight Zone series landing some big names. I have some reservations about the show, but I’m still hoping that it will be good.
