The New X-MEN Lineup Has Been Revealed
After the drama of X-Men: Hellfire Gala #1, which will lead directly into the upcoming crossover event A.X.E.: Judgment Day, the newest X-Men team was revealed.
The winner of the second annual X-Men vote this year is Firestar. She’ll be lending her powerful microwave manipulation powers to the rest of the team composed of Cyclops, Jean Grey, Synch, Iceman, Havok, Forge, and Magik. This new line up will be confronted with the threat of the Eternals waging war against mutantkind. The new lineup will spring into action in the upcoming X-Men #13, an A.X.E.: Judgment Day tie in issue. New artist C.F. Villa will be joining the series’ new rotating main artist alongside Joshua Cassara. You can check out some art and variant covers featuring Firestar’s new costume by Pepe Larraz. X-Men #13 will be coming out August 17.
Which mutant did you want to join the current team? My favorite has always been Rogue, but as someone who doesn’t know many of the mutants outside of the animated series, I do always enjoy seeing mutants I’m not as familiar with get their time in the spotlight.
