The Next TETRIS 99 Maximus Cup is POKEMON Themed

Last week, Nintendo fans were able to participate in a Tetris 99 Maximus Cup with a Luigi’s Mansion theme to promote the release of Luigi’s Mansion 3. This weekend, fans will be able to participate in Tetris 99’s 9th Maximus Cup which will have a Pokémon Sword and Shield theme! After accumulating 100 event points, you’ll unlock a new Pokémon theme with background art, music, and Tetrimino designs inspired by the highly anticipated games which will launch a few days after the event ends. This 9th Maximus Cup will run from November 7 at 11 PM Pacific Time until November 11 at 10:59 Pacific Time.

Tetris 99 is available for free from the Nintendo eShop, but you will need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription in order to play.
