The OBI-WAN KENOBI Series Trailer Theme Gets an Awesome Piano Cover
Star Wars fans flipped out over the teaser trailer that was released for Lucasfilm’s Obi-Wan Kenobi series. But, part of what made that trailer so awesome and kicked the excitement level into a new gear is the theme song that was included in the trailer. It brought back all those nostalgic Star Wars feels from the prequel films.
Well, AtinPiano recently shared a video featuring an incredibly impressive cover of the theme and there’s no doubt that you’re gonna enjoy it! The video came with the following note:
The trailer for Kenobi has me excited, not gonna lie. Even after the massive disappointment that was The Book of Boba Fett. I do believe there’s so much story here to draw from that Disney really can’t F it up. We’ll see.
One thing I wish I would have learned to do when I was growing up was to play the piano so that I could do this kind of awesome stuff!
The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith where Obi-Wan Kenobi faced his greatest defeat—the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker, who turned to the dark side as evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.
The series also stars Ewan McGregor, reprising his role as the iconic Jedi Master, along with Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader and Moses Ingram, Joel Edgerton, Bonnie Piesse, Kumail Nanjiani, Indira Varma, Rupert Friend, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Sung Kang, Simone Kessell, and Benny Safdie.
Obi-Wan Kenobi is directed by Deborah Chow and executive-produced by Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Deborah Chow, Ewan McGregor, and Joby Harold.
Obi-Wan Kenobi will drop on Disney+ on May 25th!
