The OMEN Prequel Film FIRST OMEN Casts SERVANT Star Nell Tiger Free
Servant actress Nell Tiger Free has landed her first big movie lead role in 20th Century Studio’s First Omen, which is a prequel to the classic 1976 horror film The Omen.
There’s no information in regard to the story that the film will tell, but I’m interested in seeing what the creative team behind the film comes up with. The movie is being helmed by Arkasha Stevenson, who will make her feature-directing debut. She will also rewrite the script with writing partner Tim Smith. David S. Goyer and Keith Levine are producing the film.
The original 1976 movie follows an American ambassador who believes his 5-year-old son is the Antichrist. That first movie both terrified and fascinated me when I first saw it in my early teens. I thought it was a great horror movie, though! It’s one of those films that strengthened my love of psychological horror films.
As for Nell Tiger Free being cast in the film, she’s great in Servant, and I have no doubt that she’ll be great in this movie. Hopefully, it actually tells a decent story!
