The Original 1990 IT TV Miniseries Gets The Honest Trailers Treatment
With IT: Chapter 2 opening in theaters this weekend, Screen Junkies decided to release an episode of Honest Trailers that has some fun with the classic 1990 TV miniseries.
I grew up on that TV version of Stephen King’s iconic book. It wasn’t perfect, a lot of stuff from the book was cut out, and it ended with a terrible looking giant alien spider. But damn… Tim Curry was awesome as Pennywise The Clown and it sure was a ton of fun to watch.
While I enjoyed the new films, this series will always have a special place in my heart because it scared the living shit out of me and my brothers when we were kids.
