THE OWL HOUSE Returns This October

The first of three final specials for The Owl House will be premiering on October 15 on Disney Channel and Disney XD. The 44 minute special will follow Luz and friends immediately following the events of the season 2 finale. Titled “Thanks to Them” will find Luz and friends stuck in the human realm and desperate to get back to the Boiling Isles. Sadly we will have to wait until 2023 for the other two installments. 

For those who haven’t watched it before, The Owl House follows Luz, a self-assured teenage girl who stumbles upon a  portal to a magical realm where she befriends a rebellious witch, Eda, and a tiny warrior, King. Despite not having magical abilities, Luz becomes Eda’s apprentice and ultimately finds a new family while grappling with the decision to return home to her mother or to stay. Seriously, this show is so good, if you like fantasy series then you definitely need to watch this one. I’m still gutted that it’s not getting a proper final season, but am so glad that we will at least get something to wrap up the story.
