The POWER RANGERS Movie Reboot is In Development with The Director of THE END OF THE F***ING WORLD

Paramount Pictures getting ready to move forward with a new movie reboot of Power Rangers. The studio is currently in negotiations with Jonathan Entwistle, who is best known for his Netflix series The End of the F***ing World.

The End of the F***ing World is a pretty solid series, but it’s hard to tell if Entwistle has what it takes to take on a big-budget Power Rangers action movie. Power Rangers could be a freakin’ epic movie if it was done right, I just don’t know if Entwistle is the guy to do it.

I didn’t really care for the last Power Rangers movie that was made, and it sounds like this next film will not be a continuation of that story. This new project will be a whole new take on the property and its too early to tell what this new vision will be.

Paramount recently acquired the rights to Power Rangers and hied Patrick Burleigh, who wrote the upcoming Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway, to write the script.
