The Prequel Series to JOHN WICK, THE CONTINENTAL, Will be Released After JOHN WICK 4
There have been a lot of announcements coming from the Television Critics Association. /film was able to get some information about upcoming Starz projects from Starz CEO Jeffrey Hirsch. One in particular is The Continental, an action series that takes place in the John Wick universe.
After John Wick: Chapter 2 came out, Starz announced it had plans that they wanted to make a series called The Continental. It would center around the stories in the chain of Hotels that cater to the assassins. The creators and Keanu Reeves are all involved in this project.
Since we already have a date set for John Wick 4 set for May 21, 2021, Hirsch gave a little info about the series release date:

We have a few years to wait until we see the series. Where in the John Wick timeline will the series take place? He discussed that also.
The Continental will be way earlier in the history of the series,” Hirsch said. “So it’ll be a fresh look at the continental as the hotel and how that came into the being of John Wick. It’s way back in terms of the movies.
At this point that’s too much to give away in where we’re going to set the series,
It has been confirmed that Reeves is going to be an executive produce the series, is he going to appear in any of the episodes?
