The Preview for POWER RANGERS: DRAKKON NEW DAWN #3 Stirs the Drama Pot
Power Rangers: Drakkon New Dawn is a fun little miniseries that explores the world of the coinless after the events of “Shattered Grid.” The final issue is coming out at the end of the month, and I am so freaking excited!
At the end of the last issue, Jason took back the Power Coins, which really hurt the Ranger Slayers’ forces as they were battling Eclipta. This also resulted in the death of Adam, who Scorpina was developing a romance with. Well, back in the city, there are some things that need addressing. Scorpina’s pissed, Kim’s pissed, Jason thinks he’s right when he might not be, and Zack and Trini are torn in so many ways. I love Kim correcting Jason about what their mission really was when they were chosen. Also, who could The Shattered be?
After a devastating loss to the enemy, Kimberly and the remaining Power Rangers must rally their remaining forces in a final stand against Lord Drakkon’s cruel world-ending contingency plan. With their powers broken and warriors scattered far and wide, there’s only one way to save their people from an enemy bent on total destruction but will it mean the end of the Power Rangers in the Coinless Universe? Or will the surprise appearance of THE SHATTERED turn the tide?
Drakkon New Dawn #3 will be available on October 28. Physical copies will be at local comic shops and digital copies will be available from comiXology, Google Play, iBooks, and MadeFire. The story is written by Anthony Burch with art by Simone Ragazzoni, colors by Raúl Angulo, and letters by Ed Dukeshire.
