The Production Start Date for GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 3 Has Reportedly Been Revealed
With James Gunn back on board to direct Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, fans have been wondering when it might start shooting, especially with the fact that he’s directing The Suicide Squad for DC and Warner Bros. first.
Well, according to Production Weekly, Marvel Studios is laying the groundwork to start shooting as soon as they can, and the production start date that they are shooting for is February 2021 . It will be in production under the working title of "Hot Christmas.”
That’s nearly two years away, so we’ve got awhile before we see the Guardians of the Galaxy up on the big screen again. That’s ok, though because in that time Marvel is going to be releasing all kinds of awesome and exciting films for the fans to enjoy. At least we know that Guardians Vol. 3 is coming and that Gunn is at the helm.
The next two films we have coming up are Avengers: Endgame on April 26th and Spider-Man: Far From Home on July 5th. After those are released, Marvel will announce their new slate of films and release dates.
