THE REAL GHOSTBUSTERS Classic Animated Series Is Coming to YouTube
I haven’t watched any full episode of The Real Ghostbusters animated series since I was a kid. The series ran from 1986 to 1991, and I loved it! I even owned a lot of the action figures that were released for it.
The official Ghostbusters Twitter account revealed that they will be releasing the first episode of The Real Ghostbusters this coming Saturday, and it sounds like they will be releasing a new episode of it every weekend.
This is the first time that I recall that episodes of this classic series will stream for free, and I’ll definitely be taking advantage of it!
The series continued the adventures of paranormal investigators Dr. Peter Venkman, Dr. Egon Spengler, Dr. Ray Stantz, Winston Zeddemore, their secretary Janine Melnitz and their mascot ghost Slimer as they chase and capture rogue spirits around New York City and various other areas of the world.
There’s also new line of The Real Ghostbusters action figures and accessories is currently available in Walmart stores.
