The Release Date for ONE PUNCH MAN Season 2 Revealed

I love me some One Punch Man, and now we know when the second season will air in Japan. Saitama and Genos will make their comeback alongside newcomer Garou on April 2 in Japan. If you live in the West, you’ll be able to watch the first episode on April 9 if you have a Hulu account. I imagine it’s just the subbed version with the dubbed version coming later, but I’m not certain. One thing you should know about Garou, the silver haired man in the below art, is that he is a Hero Hunter who is simply looking for someone strong enough to match him. Think Beerus from Dragon Ball Super. Here’s the full synopsis of season two:

Saitama is a hero who only became a hero for fun. After three years of “special training,” he’s become so strong that he’s practically invincible. In fact, he’s too strong—even his mightiest opponents are taken out with a single punch. Now, the great seer Madame Shibabawa’s prediction about the Earth being doomed seems to be coming true as the frequency of monster incidents escalates. Alongside Genos, his faithful disciple, Saitama begins his official hero duties as a member of the Hero Association, while Garou, a man utterly fascinated by monsters, makes his appearance.

I’m excited to see the second season of this fun and hilarious anime.
