The Remake of the Horror Film HIDE AND SEEK Adds Geoffrey Owens

The horror remake of Hide and Seek has found a new cast member in Geoffrey Owens. He will play “a head of security who helps protect a family from attacks.” Sounds like a simple enough role.

The socially-minded horror, which nods to the crisis in affordable housing and the growing chasm between rich and poor, follows a man searching for his long-lost brother who stumbles upon a secret world of squatters terrorizing the homes of unsuspecting tenants.

Owens is joining the already announced cast of Jacinda Barrett, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Joe Pantoliano, and Mustafa Shakir. Joel David Moore is directing the film using an adaptation of Huh Jung’s original screenplay.

No release date has been given for the film.
