The RESIDENT EVIL 4 Demo is Now Live and More News from the Capcom Spotlight

Capcom recently streamed a new Capcom Spotlight where they talked about some of their upcoming titles. You can watch the entire event at the bottom of this article, and I’ll do my best to recap the biggest highlights. For starters, you can now download Resident Evil 4 Chainsaw Demo which is a demo for the Resident Evil 4 remake. The demo is available on PC (Steam), PS4/5, and Xbox Series X|S (affiliate link) and the full game will release on March 24 starting at $59.99 for the same platforms.

Next, Exoprimal got another look and a release date of July 14. This team-based action game will have you suiting up and hunting dinosaurs soon enough. In addition, an Open Beta Test for Exoprimal will be taking place from March 16 at 5 PM PDT through March 19 at 4:59 PM PDT on all platforms. Participants can try out all ten Exosuits and will receive an Aibius Medal charm for their Exosuits in the full game. Pre-orders are open now with three Exosuit skins as bonuses. Exoprimal will be available to play on PC (Microsoft|Steam), PS4/5, and Xbox consoles (affiliate link).

Meanwhile, Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective will be able to play on June 30 on Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam), PS4, and Xbox One (affiliate link). This is a remaster of the Nintendo DS game from Shu Takumi (Ace Attorney) and features high resolution graphics designed for 1080p/60fps, newly arranged music, unique illustrations, and more. Pre-orders are now live with side banner backgrounds available as bonuses.

Monster Hunter Rise fans can look forward to the Sunbreak expansion hitting PS4/5 and Xbox (affiliate link) consoles starting April 28. This launch will coincide with Free Title Update 3 for those platforms which adds more goodies like the encounter with Chaotic Gore Magala.

Of course, we need some news about Street Fighter 6! The game will have an all-new real-time commentary feature with voices of popular figures in the community and influential personalities. During the Capcom Spotlight, it was announced that the Japanese actress Hikaru Takahashi will be the eighth and final commentator at the game’s launch. The announcement also included the revelation of Rally Support which allows commentators to “cheer competitors on and amp-up the excitement as the match progresses!” You can play Street Fighter 6 on PC (Steam), PS4/5, and Xbox Series X|S (affiliate link) on June 2.

Finally, some new features were announced for Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection. All 499 Patch Cards that were physical cards exclusive to Japan that could be scanned into the game will be included in the game. In addition, for people wanting an Easy Mode to help just blast through the story, you can use the Buster MAX Mode to multiply the damage of MegaMan.EXE’s MegaBuster shot by 100! This feature will naturally be disabled for online NetBattles, so it’s purely to help get through the story. Finally, it was announced that the first two seasons of Mega Man NT Warrior will be available to stream for free starting March 21. You can play Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection on April 14 via Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam), and PS4 with an MSRP of $59.99 or you can buy digital volumes (split into two) for $39.99 in case you only care about half of the games.
