The Rights To DAREDEVIL Have Reverted Back To Marvel and The Fans Have Started a Movement For a Revival

Marvel and Netflix had a great three-season run with Daredevil. I recently rewatched it and was once again super impressed with how that show turned out. I’d love to see that series continue with the same actors, but if that happens, it’s not happening at Netflix. Disney and Marvel have got Disney+ and Hulu now.

The rights to Daredevil recently reverted back to Marvel, so if they do have any future plans for the character they are free to move forward with those plans when they are ready!

Over the weekend, the day that the rights reverted back to Marvel, November 29th, the fans launched a campaign calling for the show’s revival by using hashtag #SaveDaredevil. Like a lot of fans, they want to see the same cast a creative team for the Netflix series to come back for the revival and also continue to feature the mature content of the show.

The  campaign’s website reads:

“We’re inviting the Fandom Without Fear and Daredevil fans around the world to join us on Twitter and other social media platforms to amplify the #SaveDaredevil hashtag worldwide and remind Disney and Marvel that the fans want to see OUR version of the Daredevil character return with Charlie Cox in the role, and the series revived with the same cast and mature rating.”

I have no idea if this is going to work. My hope is that Marvel was just planning on reviving the Daredevil series all along, but only time will tell what the studio is planning for the character now that they have the rights back.
