The Rock Makes His Big Wrestling Debut in Trailer for YOUNG ROCK Season 2
NBC has released the trailer for Young Rock Season 2, which continues Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s life journey. The series covers three separate time periods of Johnson’s life, and this next season will cover the part of Johnson’s life as he steps away from his football career and into the world of professional wrestling.
That’s right, Johnson wanted to get into the family business! It’s a life that his dad initially didn’t want for him, but wrestling is in his blood and he was awesome at it. It also led to where he’s at now. This version of The Rock is played by Uli Latukefu and it’s crazy how much he fits in the role of Johnson!
Young Rock focuses on “different chapters of Dwayne Johnson’s life. From growing up in a strong and resilient family, to being surrounded by the wild characters of his professional wrestling family, to playing football at the University of Miami, the show will explore the crazy rollercoaster that has shaped Dwayne into the man he is today and the larger-than-life characters he’s met along the way.”
Young Rock's second season is set to premiere on NBC on March 15th.
