The Russo Bros. Cast Michelle Yeoh, Jason Alexander, Brian Cox, and More in THE ELECTRIC STATE
The Gray Man directors Joe and Anthony Russo are developing their next film project for Netflix with The Electric State. They previously cast Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt in the film, and they’ve added several new cast members!
These new actors include Michelle Yeoh, Stanley Tucci, Jason Alexander, Brian Cox, and Jenny Slate. There are no details on who they will play in the film, but Cox and Slate will voice CGI characters. The Russo Bros. are set to direct the film from a script written by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.
The film is based on an adaptation of the illustrated novel by Simon Stålenhag and is set in a retro-futuristic past, “where an orphaned teenager (Brown) traverses the American West with a sweet but mysterious robot and an eccentric drifter in search of her younger brother.”
This is sure to be an ambitious and visually stunning film. I’m excited about this one! Production on the film is set to start in the fall.
