The San Antonio Zoo Is Attempting To Save Geoffrey The Giraffe Following Toys R' Us' Closing

Toys R Us has closed its doors, and while many are wondering whether the store will be saved down the stretch, only one organization is concerned about saving Geoffrey The Giraffe. The San Antonio Zoo is crowdfunding to save Toys R Us' fictional mascot from fading into obscurity, and hoping they can convince the company to sell off the rights to its character to turn Geoffrey into a mascot for giraffe conservation efforts.
