The Sci-Fi Podcast CRYPTIDS Launches a New Visual Element
Cryptids is a science-fiction narrative podcast from the mind of Alexander V. Thompson. It follows a conspiracy radio show host and a listener as they search for the truth about death and it sounds interesting.
The podcast has announced a new team up with Dark Matter TV to bring a visual element to the podcast. Each episode now has an image that goes with it that you can watch while you listen to it along with subtitles to help make the podcast very accessible.
Cryptids follows Eve, a pediatric hospice nurse, and Trevor, a late night conspiracy radio show host, in search of an afterlife. Instead, they find a truth beyond their wildest nightmares.
Eve is a true believer. She uses Trevor’s radio show to escape from the death she faces every day while at work. Eve finds faith in believing something else is out there. But, Eve needs to prove that something is real. She forces her way into Trevor’s off-air life, and together they set out to find the truth behind a well-believed conspiracy: aliens on the moon are orchestrating death and harvesting human souls. On their search, the two are forced to face their greatest fears while on the cusp of not only proving the existence of Gods and Monsters, but unveiling one of humankind’s darkest and most profound secrets.
If you love the first season, don’t worry, the second season is in the works. Cryptids is directed by Devin Shepherd and stars Thompson, Jenna Krakowsky, Marianna McClellan, and William McNulty.
