The Second CALL OF DUTY Film Will Be Written by BLACK PANTHER Writer Joe Robert Cole

I don’t know if you remember, but Activision hired Stefano Sollima to helm a Call of Duty film. We haven’t heard anything about that film in about nine months, and Activision is already working on the sequel.

According to Variety, Activision has recruited Joe Robert Cole, the writer of Black Panther, to write the sequel to the first film that is still in the works.

According to the same report, neither film has a distributor, and the first film still doesn’t have a cast but is expected to begin production next year. I have to admit, I don’t know what they’re going to do for a Call of Duty film to make it unique.
