The Second Monster of the Week for POWER RANGERS RPG is Octoplant

Renegade Game Studios is making good on their promise of new Power Rangers content each Monday in February. This week, they revealed a new Monster of the Week for you to incorporate into your Power Rangers RPG adventures and campaigns.

Coming from the first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is Octoplant. I’ll be honest, this one took me aback as this was not one that I remembered very well. On the one hand, it’s nice that they went with something less common, on the other, I would’ve loved a more familiar face. It is what it is though.

Octoplant starts as a seedling that eventually grows into a much stronger threat. You’ll definitely want to be careful as this monster can grow her vines to increase her reach (which starts at 25ft by the way) making ranged combat not nearly as easy as you’d think. If your Rangers can defeat her as an Evil Seedling, they’ll be a lot better off.
