The Sequel to the Thriller DON'T BREATHE Finds a Director

Director Fede Alvarez has found a director to take on his sequel to the surprise hit thriller Don’t Breathe. The film will be directed by Rodo Sayagues, who has collaborated with Alvarez on several film projects. He was also the co-writer of the original 2016 film. This will make for his directorial debut.

You’ll be happy to learn that Stephen Lang is set to reprise his role as the crazy brutal character known as Blind Man. As you might expect, major plot details for Breathe 2  are being kept under wraps, it is set “several years after the home invasion of the first movie, with the Blind Man living in quiet solace…until his past sins catch up to him.”

Sayagues wrote the script for the sequel with Alvarez, and they will start production on it in April. The film is being produced by Alvarez, Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert of Ghost House Pictures.
