THE SIMPSONS Treehouse of Horror XXXI Takes on a TOY STORY Tale Complete With Pixar Animation Style

The Simpsons is gearing up to air its 31st annual Halloween episode, Treehouse of Horror XXXI. The episode will take a frightening look at the 2020 election, and will parody Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, unleashing several Homers from other dimensions (including Disney Princess Homer), and will even nod at Netflix’s Russian Doll in which Lisa has a birthday she just can’t get over.

The story is also getting a Pixar makeover, complete with a Toy Story storyline in which Bart is a Sid-like kid who mistreats his toys, most likely with disastrous results. This looks like a really fun episode with tons of references and Easter eggs for the fans. I am looking forward to checking it out.
