Fans are clearly excited about Spider-Man: No Way Home, and it’s safe to say that the movie is going to be a massive box office success. One sign of that is that the recently released teaser trailer completely shattered the viewership record previously held by Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame.

When the Avengers: Endgame trailer was released, it picked up 289 million views in a 24-hour period. That was the record until the trailer for No Way Home dropped. The trailer for that film picked up 355.5 million views in a 24-hour period!

According to Sony Pictures, the trailer also earned the most-ever mentions on social media of any movie preview over the first 24 hours, with 4.5 million mentions worldwide. Domestically, No Way Home drew 2.91 million mentions over 24 hours, nearly doubling the 1.94 million mentions over the same period for the Endgame trailer.

That’s pretty crazy! Fans are incredibly curious about seeing what’s in store for this movie, especially with villains from the previous film iterations of Spider-Man showing up in the movie! Alfred Molina is back as Doctor Octopus, Jamie Foxx as Electro, and it’s also being reported that Willem Dafoe will show up as Green Goblin, and there are sure to be more! There are also rumors that Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire might be reprising their Spider-Man roles, but we won’t know for sure if that’s the case until the movie is released.

Spider-Man: No Way Home is being directed by Jon Watts, and it also stars Tom Holland and Benedict Cumberbatch as they embark on a crazy multiverse adventure! The movie swings into theaters on December 17th. I love that people are hyped up and excited for this movie! It’s definitely going to be a crazy awesome movie-going experience.
