The STAR WARS: AHSOKA Series Enlists SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE Director Peter Ramsey
Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse director Peter Ramsey has been enlisted to helm at least one episode of the upcoming Star Wars series Ahsoka. This news makes me happy because Ramsey is an incredibly talented director with great creative vision.
Dave Filoni is writing the series and executive producing with Jon Favreau, both of which have had lots of awesome success with The Mandalorian. The series is going to start shooting in Los Angeles later this month. The episode count and additional directors have not been revealed.
The series stars Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, who plays Sabine Wren, and Mary Elizabeth Winstead in an undisclosed role. It also stars Ivanna Sakhno and Hayden Christensen, who will be back as Darth Vader.
The series follows Ahsoka and Sabine, who are on the hunt for the evil Grand Admiral Thrawn in hopes that he will help her locate the lost Ezra Bridger, the young Jedi who disappeared with Thrawn many years ago.
