The Insane Story of the Sarah Lawrence Cult Covered in Trailer for STOLEN YOUTH: INSIDE THE CULT AT SARAH LAWRENCE
Hulu has released the first trailer for a three-part documentary series titled Stolen Youth: Inside The Cult of Sarah Lawrence. If you’re not familiar with this cult, it was completely insane, and this doc is going to cover all the details that you’ll want to know. It was quite a horrific experience for the people involved.
The miniseries was made with unprecedented access, and it “excerpts striking first-hand interviews with conman Larry Ray’s victims and incorporates personal audio tapes and video recordings to tell the story of his grim 10-year influence over a group of young people.”
The series is said to follow the story from “the cult’s origins in 2010 on the Sarah Lawrence campus until its recent demise, when the last members find their own paths to survival.”
I listen to podcasts that put a focus on cults because cults fascinate me, and this Cult of Sarah Lawrence is definitely one of the crazier cults, especially in regard to modern-day cults. It’s crazy to me how some people actually get away with this crap for so long!
