The Surprising Rumored Role That Katherine Langford Might Be Playing in AVENGERS 4

There’s be a lot of fan speculation about who 13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford could be playing in Avengers 4. Most of these theories peg her as either Cassie Lang or Kate Bishop.

Now a new rumor has surfaced that is said to come from an inside source that might reveal who she’s really playing. The information comes from MCU Cosmic, and if it’s true, it’s a surprising role that I haven’t seen any fan theories tackle.

Just to be safe…

The report says that they were told last week that Langford would be playing a descendant of one of the original six Avengers from some twenty years in the future after the events of Avengers: Infinity War.

Then they received a bit of new information that reveals who she is a descendent of and it’s not Clint Barton or Scott Lang.

According to the rumor the actress plays the grown daughter of Tony Stark and Pepper Potts. Now that I hear it, it makes some sense. We don’t know how big of a role that she will play in the story, though.

The report points out that the inclusion of this character “would also add to the drama and emotional closure for Tony Stark’s ten-year odyssey in the MCU if he sees his grown daughter twenty years in the future and he has to sacrifice that future to bring everyone back to life.”

There are so many different scenarios of how the story of Avengers 4 could all play out. This is just one of several options, but it’s one that I like the idea of.
