The Team Behind JOHN WICK Is Developing a Remake of THE MAN FROM NOWHERE
John Wick franchise director Chad Stahelski is set to produce a remake of the 2010 South Korean film The Man From Nowhere, and he has hired John Wick scribe Derek Kolstad to write the script for the film.
The story for the film centers around “a quiet pawnshop keeper with a violent past who takes on a drug-and-organ trafficking ring in hope of saving the child who is his only friend.”
The movie was a huge hit in South Korea and ended up being one of the highest-grossing films in the country the year it was released. The original film was written and directed by Lee Jeong-beom, and it is a great film worth checking out if you haven’t seen it.
