Netflix’s The Toys That Made Us series will return for Season 5 and 6! The announcement come five years after the third season arrived on the streaming service.
The announcement was made at Comic-Con over the weekend by series creator Brian Volk-Weiss and his team. They also announced the toy brands that will be covered in the seasons. They include:
Ghostbusters
Hot Wheels
Fast Food Toys
Pokemon
Polly Pocket
Super Hero Toys
Nerf
American Greetings (Strawberry Shortcake, Madballs, My Pet Monster)
In The Toys That Made Us, the minds behind history’s most iconic toy franchises discuss their billion-dollar creations. You can currently stream all three available seasons on Netflix.
The toy brands covered in the first three seasons include Barbie, Star Wars, He-Man, G.I. Joe, Star Trek, Transformers, LEGO, Hello Kitty, Power Rangers, TMNT, My Little Pony and pro wrestling.
I enjoy this series, and I’m happy that it’s coming back for two more seasons! It’s fun and interesting learning about the toys that I grew up with!
