The New Trailer for Zack Snyder's JUSTICE LEAGUE Released in Color and Over Half the Film Is Unseen Footage
Yesterday Zack Snyder released a new trailer for Justice League that was in black and white. While the new trailer mostly featured the same footage from the DC FanDome, there were several new shots scattered throughout it. That latest trailer has now been released in color, and you can watch it below.
Snyder also revealed during a discussion yesterday that he held on Vero that his four-hour cut of the movie will have about two and a half hours of previously unseen footage, which is pretty cool. This footage won’t necessarily be “new” footage. This will mostly be footage that was shot back in 2016 before Joss Whedon took over the production.
Snyder has been shooting new footage for the film, but that is said to be only about four or five minutes of footage in total, and that reportedly includes Jared Leto’s Joker footage.
Snyder also revealed his cut is officially locked, and as of right now he’s approving the visual effects shots for it.
In Justice League, fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. Zack Snyder’s Justice League will premiere exclusively on HBO Max in 2021.
