The TRANSFORMERS Film Franchise Will Get a Complete Reboot After BUMBLEBEE

Hasbro revealed some big news today during Toy Fair 2018. It was there they announced that Paramount Pictures is planning on completely rebooting the Transformers film franchise after the release of director Travis Knight's Bumblebee: The Movie.

According to TWF2005, the studio has removed Transformers 6 from their upcoming list of Hasbro film, which currently includes Bumblebee in 2018, G.I. Joe in 2020, Micronauts in 2020, Dungeons and Dragons in 2021, and a "Paramount/Hasbro Event Film" in 2021.

It was also reported that Hasbro will have more control of the films based on their properties from here on out. That includes greenlighting any other movie projects.

This means that Michael Bay is 100% done with Transformers. The Last Knight was the final nail in the coffin. I'm actually pretty excited that the franchise will be getting a reboot! Maybe this time they will actually do it right!

It'll probably be awhile before we see the first rebooted Transformers movie, but it is coming. What do you think about Hasbro and Paramount rebooting the Transformers film franchise?
