THE TWILIGHT ZONE Season 2 Casting Announcement and Jordan Peele Will Write an Episode
The first season of Jordan Peele’s The Twilight Zone series was actually a lot better than I was expecting. It’s nowhere near as good as the original series, but it was still a fun and entertaining series that I enjoyed. Season 2 is now in development and we have some new information to share with you regarding it.
The first bit of news involves the cast, and that cast includes Billy Porter, Morena Baccarin, Jenna Elfman, Gillian Jacobs, Chris Meloni, Ethan Embry, Tony Hale, Abbie Hern, Sophia Macy, Joel McHale, Jimmi Simpson, Daniel Sunjata, and Tavi Gevinson. There are a lot of great actors that will fill the second season, and I’m sure that more will be announced.
The other news is that executive producer and host Jordan Peele will actually write an episode for the second season. The episode is titled “Downtime,” and it will feature Baccarin, Domingo, and Hale. There’s no word on what the story will be about.
Deadline also reports that Win Rosenfeld is writing “The Who of You” featuring Sunjata, Embry, and Porter; Alex Rubens is writing “A Human Face” featuring Elfman, Meloni and Gevinson; Glen Morgan is writing ”8” featuring McHale; Heather Anne Campbell is writing “Among The Untrodden” with Abbie Hern and Sophia Macy; and Emily C. Chang and Sara Amini are writing “Meet in the Middle” featuring Simpson and Jacobs.
Did you like the first season of this series, and are you looking forward to Season 2?
