THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY Season 2 Has a Crazy Fast Shooting Schedule!

If you are like me, you thoroughly enjoyed The Netflix series The Umbrella Academy. Season 1 was some of the best television I have seen in a long time. Unfortunately, it seemed like the season went by too fast. The problem with binging a show so fast is that the next season is that much farther away. Fortunately for us, it appears that the showrunners of TUA feel our pain in this situation and are doing something about it.

According to ScreenRant, season 2 will begin production next month and will be complete in September of this year. The season is still set to be released in 2020, so with the unusually quick shooting schedule, that will give them plenty of time for post production.

The Umbrella Academy is based off of the graphic novel created by My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way and Gabriel Ba. If you are a fan of the graphic novel and the show, then you know that a lot of the graphic novel’s plot points were changed to fit into the show, including the end. So with that knowledge, the second season can go anywhere.

With how bananas the first season was, I can’t wait to see what they do in the second. Let me know what you would like to see in the upcoming episodes.
