THE UMBRELLA ACADEMY Season 3 First Look Photos and New Posters
Netflix has revealed two new posters and several photos for the upcoming third season of their hit series,The Umbrella Academy. In one of the posters, we see the latest look at the adult kids in the Hargreeves family, aka the Umbrella Academy, who we have come to know over the past two seasons. In the other, we get a look at the mysterious Sparrow Academy, who entered the story in the last moments of the second season finale.
The photos offer us a first look at what we can expect from the series. We also have this new synopsis for Season 3 to share with you:
After putting a stop to 1963's doomsday, the Umbrella Academy return home to the present, convinced they prevented the initial apocalypse and fixed this godforsaken timeline once and for all. But after a brief moment of celebration, they realize things aren't exactly (okay, not at all) how they left them. Enter the Sparrow Academy. Smart, stylish, and about as warm as a sea of icebergs, the Sparrows immediately clash with the Umbrellas in a violent face-off that turns out to be the least of everyone's concerns. Navigating challenges, losses, and surprises of their own – and dealing with an unidentified destructive entity wreaking havoc in the universe (something they may have caused). Now all they need to do is convince Dad's new and possibly better family to help them put right what their arrival made wrong. Will they find a way back to their pre-apocalyptic lives? Or is this new world about to reveal more than just a hiccup in the timeline?
The season will welcome back Luther (Tom Hopper), Diego (David Castaneda), Allison (Emmy Raver-Lampman), Klaus (Robert Sheehan), Five (Aidan Gallagher), Ben (Justin H. Min) and Vanya (Elliot Page). In addition, Lila (Ritu Arya), who was revealed to be another of the 43 super children and the adopted daughter of Commission agent The Handler (Kate Walsh), is expected back after disappearing via one of The Commission’s time-travel briefcases. Colm Feore is also set to return as Hargreeves. Justin H. Min’s Ben is now alive and well in the new season, and the other Season 3 Sparrows will be played by Justin Cornwell (Training Day), Britne Oldford (The Flash), Jake Epstein (Designated Survivor), Genesis Rodriguez (Time After Time), Cazzie David (Eighty-Sixed miniseries) and, of course, Dread-Inducing Psykronium Cube.
