THE UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT May End With Season 4 and a Movie
Variety is reporting that the fourth season of The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt will also be its last. This fills me with a small amount of sadness as the show is funny and has been a great comedy. However, season 3 was not that great (I'm hopeful for season 4) and I'd hate for this show to go on forever and be one of the many shows that runs for too long. Of course, in addition to the fourth season being the final season, reports say that the series will be a movie developed by Netflix in conjunction with Universal Television.
I imagine the finale will have Titus get closure with Mikey, whether that's getting back with him or finally moving on, Kimmy will finally be able to drop the Reverend and live a semi-normal life, Lillian will finally find happiness, and Jacqueline will find success on her own.
Ellie Kemper stars as the titular Kimmy Schmidt, Tituss Burgess is Titus Andromedon, Jane Krakowski plays Jacqueline, and Carol Kane rounds out the main cast as Lillian. The series was created by Tina Fey.
The first half of season 4 of The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt is set to premiere May 30, 2018, on Netflix.
