The Untitled Fourth PURGE Film Moves Forward With a Director

The fourth Purge film (which doesn't have a title yet) has found it's director in Gerard McMurray according to Bloody Disgusting. The director is most known for his directorial debut Burning Sands, which can currently be seen on Netflix.

Pretty intense right? It also looks like the film is aiming for a 4th of July release date, so expect whatever theme to come to have an Independence Day spin on it. The film is expected to be out in 2018, and will still be written by James DeMonaco despite his stepping down from directing duties. How do you feel about Demonaco stepping away from the franchise?
