The Upcoming HEARTHSTONE Expansion Shakes Things Up with Dual-Class Cards and More
Blizzard’s got some fun news for all the Hearthstone players out there. The new expansion, Scholomance Academy will launch in early August and bring 135 new cards in addition to other new aspects. One of those new aspects is Dual-Class cards. As you might have guessed, these are cards that can be used by two classes. Each class will be paired with two others providing a total of 10 different combinations and a total of 40 Dual-Class cards in the expansion. This is definitely an interesting idea and it does make some sense.
Spellburst is a new keyword that players will notice as well. Cards with Spellburst will have a one-time effect that triggers the next time you play a spell. Mages are going to have fun with this, I’m sure. Finally, Studies are a new kind of spell that players can cast. Studies allow you to immediately Discover a card and reduce the mana cost of the next card you play of the same type. “At Scholomance Academy, dedicated study is rewarded with power!”
