The U.S. Premiere of THE WONDERLAND Will Happen at Crunchyroll Expo Next Weekend

Next weekend is Crynchyroll Expo, and the anime streaming company has recently announced that anime fans in attendance will be able to watch the U.S. premiere of The Wonderland. The Wonderland is an animated film from Eleven Arts and based on the key art (below), it is gorgeous. Keiichi Hara directed the film with Ilya Kuvshinov designing the characters. If you’re lucky enough to be attending Crunchyroll Expo, you can catch the premiere at CRX Cinema on Friday, August 30 at 2PM Pacific Time.

“On the day before her birthday, young Akane meets the mysterious alchemist Hippocrates who brings her through a basement and into a fantastical world full of magic and color. He reveals that this world is in danger, and as the “Green Goddess” it is her destiny and responsibility to save this world. The only problem? Akane just wants to go home.”
