The VFX work done in The Scorpion King are considered to be some of the worst digital effects ever created for film. Well, the team at Digital Corridor took on the challenge of fixing those effects and improving them. As you’ll see, the results are pretty damn impressive!
They actually managed to make Dwayne Johnson look like Dwayne Johnson! As you might expect, they used the popular deepfake technology to make the fix, and it seems to work great!
The bad special effects for The Scorpion King were just a product of the time the film was made, but it’s cool to see how it could be fixed all these years later with this new technology that is sweeping the internet.
