THE WALKING DEAD Season 8 Finale Was Its Lowest Season Finale Ratings Since Season 1

The Walking Dead is still one of the most watched shows on television after its Season 8 conclusion, but the series is certainly not gaining fans the longer it goes on. Deadline reported last Sunday's season finale was the second lowest finale the show has aired ratings-wise, and a 30% decrease in viewership from the Season 7 finale.

That said, the series still pulled in 7.9 million viewers in a primetime slot, so it's not going anywhere anytime soon. Perhaps next season will be a different story? I've been out of The Walking Dead since Season 4 so I can't say much about it, but those who have stuck with the series until now, will you be tuning in next season?
