THE WALKING DEAD's Lauren Cohan Set To Star in a New ABC Series Called WHISKEY CAVALIER
It doesn't look like Walking Dead star Lauren Cohan is going to last much longer on the series as she just booked the lead role in a new ABC drama pilot called Whiskey Cavalier.
According to Variety, Cohan currently doesn't have a contract to return to The Walking Dead Season 9, but she's been in negotiations with AMC for months over her potential return. That's still up in the air, but it's weird to think that she might be leaving the show. She's been a regular on it since Season 2.
As far as this new series goes, Whiskey Cavalier is described as a "high-octane hour-long action dramedy that follows the adventures of tough but tender FBI super agent Will Chase (Scott Foley) who, following an emotional break-up, is assigned to work with badass CIA operative Francesca “Frankie” Trowbridge (Cohan). Together, they lead an inter-agency team of flawed, funny, heroic spies who periodically save the world (and each other) while navigating the rocky roads of friendship, romance and office politics."
Sounds like it might be fun, but we'll just have to wait and see how it turns out. The series comes from writer and producer Dave Hemingson (The Catch, Uncle Buck).
