THE WIZARD OF OZ is Returning to Theaters for 3 Days

The Wizard of Oz originally premiered in theaters on August 25, 1939. I don’t know how old you are, but I was not around in those days. That means I’ve never experienced the film on the silver screen.

However, I may yet have a chance to do so as Fathom Events will be playing the film in theaters for three days next week. For the 80th anniversary of the film, fans will be able to see the film on January 27, January 29, and January 30.

This is all a part of Fathom’s TCM Big Screen Classics series which will feature other great films this year including To Kill a Mockingbird, My Fair Lady, and Hello, Dolly!. Are you going to watch this iconic film on the big screen?
