The Wizarding World Comes Alive Again with the Full-Cast Audio Trailer for HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER'S STONE

The magic of Harry Potter is about to be reimagined in a way fans have never heard before. Pottermore Publishing and Audible have unveiled the trailer for Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone (Full-Cast Audio Edition), the first installment in the all-new Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Editions collection.

Launching November 4, 2025, this ambitious new take on the classic story invites listeners back to Hogwarts with an incredible ensemble cast and stunning sound production.

These new full-cast productions promise a truly cinematic audio experience, blending over 200 voice actors, Dolby Atmos sound design, original music, and real-world soundscapes to bring J.K. Rowling’s world to life in extraordinary detail. It’s the Wizarding World as an immersive auditory adventure, not just a narration.

The star-studded lineup includes Cush Jumbo OBE as the narrator, Hugh Laurie as Albus Dumbledore, Matthew Macfadyen as Lord Voldemort, Riz Ahmed as Professor Snape, Kit Harington as Professor Lockhart, and Keira Knightley as Professor Umbridge.

Joining them are Iwan Rheon as Professor Lupin, Ruth Wilson as Bellatrix Lestrange, Simon Pegg as Arthur Weasley, Michelle Gomez as Professor McGonagall, and Mark Addy as Hagrid—just to name a few.

Newcomers Frankie Treadaway, Max Lester, and Arabella Stanton will voice Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, and Hermione Granger in the first three audiobooks. Beginning with Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the trio will be portrayed by Jaxon Knopf, Rhys Mulligan, and Nina Barker-Francis.

Other standout roles include Jude Farrant and Maximus Evans as Draco Malfoy, Jake Sigsworth and Archie Mountain as Neville Longbottom, and Bill Nighy as Professor Slughorn. The sheer scale of this cast is staggering, encompassing 500 characters across 198 chapters and 733 scenes, recorded over 400 sessions totaling more than 3,000 hours of studio time.

The series will unfold over several months, with each audiobook releasing in sequence. After Sorcerer’s Stone debuts on November 4, 2025, fans can look forward to:

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets – December 16, 2025

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban – January 13, 2026

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire – February 10, 2026

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix – March 10, 2026

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince – April 14, 2026

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – May 12, 2026

By the end, the entire saga will total over 130 hours of finished audio.

With its full-cast performances and detailed sound design, Harry Potter: The Full-Cast Audio Editions redefines what an audiobook can be. Every classroom whisper, Quidditch cheer, and spell-casting echo has been designed to pull listeners directly into the story.

These new editions are available for pre-order now on Audible, so fans can step back into the halls of Hogwarts when the journey begins this November.
