There's a FRIENDS Reunion Special in the Works at HBO Max
HBO Max recently made the big purchase of the rights to the mega-hit series, Friends. After the show’s long-standing run on Netflix, HBO’s new streaming service will get its turn to house the giant. And not only will fans be able to tune in and watch their favorite sitcom whenever they want, but there’s actually a Friends reunion in the works for fans to enjoy!
Jennifer Aniston recently alluded to a possible something when asked on The Ellen DeGeneres Show if fans could expect anything new from the beloved cast. She said:
“I would love for there to be something, but we don’t know what that something is. So we’re just trying. We’re working on something.”
Not much is known of the project, except that it would see the return of Aniston and her co-stars, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer. It is also said that the special will be unscripted and will possibly follow the lead of the series “Beverly Hills, 90210 quasi-reunion, semi-scripted limited series BH90210.”
I don’t care how they do it, I just want it to happen! I love the chemistry of these real life friends and their incredible knack for a perfect blend of comedy and heart. I can’t wait to see what they come up with.
