There's a Funny A.I. Generated Endless SEINFELD-Inspired Series Streaming on Twitch
I never thought we’d see the day when the classic sitcom Seinfeld would return as an A.I. generated series, but here we are! It’s happening and it’s so weird!
The Nothing, Forever show has taken the internet by storm, and its popularity is skyrocketing! Described as an AI-generated and nonsensical version of Seinfeld, this show streams on Twitch, and people seem to be loving it! The account @watchmeforever now boasts over 83,000 followers, with over 11,000 viewers tuning in at any given time.
The masterminds behind the show, Skylar Hartle and Brian Habersberger, used a combination of machine learning, generative algorithms, and cloud services to bring this AI-generated comedy to life. The characters in the show are all speaking to each other using GPT-3, OpenAI's language model, which leads to nonsensical conversations that barely make sense, but with a laugh track to support the bits.
Despite the lack of coherence, fans can't get enough of Nothing, Forever. The running commentary from viewers is often funnier than the show itself, with some admitting to confusion and fear about where this is all heading.
This show has been online since Dec 14th, but only recently gained attention and blew up in popularity. The good news is that it streams constantly, putting its characters in different situations that have a classic Seinfeld vibe. Check it out and tell us what you think!
