There's a GALAXY QUEST Live Symphony Concert Taking Place in San Diego During Comic-Con

San Diego Comic-Con is going to sneak up on us pretty fast. It’s only a couple months away, and there’s a pretty exciting event taking place that weekend that some fans will be interested in attending!

It has been announced that the classic sci-fi comedy Galaxy Quest is getting a live symphony concert during Comic-Con at the Jacobs Music Center in Copley Symphony Hall. The creator of the musical score for the film David Newman will be there conducting the San Diego Symphony orchestra, along with the Women of the San Diego Master Chorale, and there will be other surprise special guests in attendance.

As a huge fan of Galaxy Quest, this is something that I would absolutely love to attend! The fantastic score will be played along with the film which starred Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, Alan Rickman, Tony Shalhoub, Daryl Mitchell, and Sam Rockwell.

The world premiere of Galaxy Quest in Concert will take place on July 19th at 7:30pm local time at the Jacobs Music Center in Copley Symphony Hall.

Hopefully, I’ll be able to find the time to attend! Comic-Con is always so busy. If you’re attending Comic-Con, is this something that you’d want to attend?
